LULLABY

Starry Night - 2006
Charles Moffat

Another singing story like so many others...

The young boy who never smiled and
the tiny girl with the wounded knees
Amused by Hairman's hypnotizing voice
Forgot for a few hours all their miseries

He applies a bandage, she lends a smile
Astonished are they with Robert's stance
Unworried about the after tomorrow, as
Adam Green usually says, "baby come dance..."

A rhetoric question before the goodnight:

Was it a fairy tale in Real World or a true story in Twilight Zone?

MilkShake disse...

Young boy who never smiled
There’s another story to sing
Will the tiny girl in a starry night
Forget how her knees once were aching?

Even if the night is not so starry
Don’t forget while you speak
How the sadness was buried
And how the strongest was born so weak

Sing me fairytales from The real world
The one wich we so well knew
Do you know it’s now a beautiful spot
You turned it from grey into blue

LifeSaviour, with our hands
Let’s play a little game
Don’t forget to catch me later
And make sure you won’t be late

I won’t take no for an answer
I was (re)born to be a dancer…
